The Libyan government issued a Telecommunications License to Hermes Datacomms that allows the Wide Area Communications provider to continue offering a wide array of satellite communications solutions to Libyan industries such as the oil and gas sector.

Based in the United Kingdom, global satellite communications company Hermes first established a trading and operations presence within the Libyan capital of Tripoli back in 2005. It supplied onshore and offshore VSAT communication services for urban customers and remote locations. It also provides Fixed-Line Networks, International Telecommunications, Communication Networks, and Internet Services.

Hermes Datacomms tailors Wide Area Communications solutions for the specific needs of the upstream oil and gas industry. No location is too remote and challenging, as established by the company’s worldwide presence in African, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Russian locations.
